Arrogance, Stubbornness, Pride & Prejudice

As I sit here watching Pride & Prejudice for the 16th time this semester, I am forced to ask myself why I love this story so much.

I could blame it on the music {I listen to the soundtrack on repeat}, or the fashion {please, please help me bring empire waists back!}, the use of the word "incandescently," or even the happy ending...

but I think what I really love about Pride & Prejudice is how unbelievably redemptive it is. These two people are so very flawed, yet somehow, {against their fair share of odds}, they fall in love and that love melts their arrogance, their stubbornness, their pride and their prejudice.
