The Story of the Not-So-Blue-Door

The story of the two girls who came to live in the Not-So-Blue-Door is a long one. It involves many twists of fate and fits of giggles and is frankly to long to tell you about at this hour of the night. What I will tell you about right now is how they decided on settling at the Not-So-Blue-Door.


The weather on the day that Kara told Kendra that they would not be living in Manchester any more is of little to no importance, however, in case you were wondering, it was a gray day in Spain. 
But back to our heroines. 
It was a gray day in Spain when Kara told Kendra that they would not be living in Manchester any more. And really, here I have to back up a bit and explain further. Kendra and Kara decided that they would be living together (well in reality they didn't really decide to live together at all, and no, I'm not that kind of determinist,it's just that someone else was involved as well, and her name is Jenny and really I wasn't planning on telling you this whole back story -- because it's a long one with many twists [like the one i'm considering telling you about right now] of fate and fits of giggles, have I mentioned this already? -- )
Right. Back to our heroines.
It was over a salad at Urbane Cafe (the one on the corner, right down the street) that Jenny first mentioned Kara, to Kendra. Kendra had just picked Jenny up from the airport (school was starting in a week) and happened to be craving garbanzo beans (a rather routine craving for our heroine Kendra). After a quick turn of the wheel of Kendra's black Toyota Rav4 (this seemingly minor detail is in fact not minor at all, so please do store it away somewhere for later), Jenny and Kendra arrived at the Cafe where they would have salads, over which they would talk about Kara. 
And right now your faithful narrator just realized that it's two hours and four minutes past her bed time so she will have to continue this tomorrow...
