You would think that Noah and his Arc were around the corner the way Madridians walk around two by two.
The couples are everywhere... the park, the metro, the plazas, the restaurants...
People, pigeons and even produce all seem to be in pairs.

The worst for me is when the couples are not smiling.
When they are not smiling I have an overwhelming urge to yell
"DON'T YOU KNOW HOW LUCKY YOU ARE THAT YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER IS ON THE OTHER END OF YOUR ARM!?"
